Conditions of Let

Arrivals/Departures
Visitors to arrive from 4pm on arrival day and vacate by 10am on the departure day unless otherwise arranged. Visitors to vacate the property at end of period of reservation without any process of law.

Cleaning
We would be grateful if visitors could leave the Bothy in a clean and tidy condition.

Payment
Payment in sterling cash, cheque or travellers cheques made payable to C Bothwell. Deposit of £100 is required to secure a booking. Remaining amount due 4 weeks in advance of arrival (no reminders will be sent).

Access
Owner retains right of access to the Bothy.

Breakages and losses
£50 Damage Deposit may be charged on arrival and refunded at the end of the let unless breakages or damages have been caused. Damage or breakages in the cottage to be reported immediately. Damage caused may be charged at cost by the owner.

Disclaimer

The owner cannot accept any responsibility or be liable for any loss or damage, accident or mishap to persons or their property whilst in and around the bothy or whilst engaged in any activity therefrom or any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever, including cars.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, booking fee/part thereof is only refunable at owners discretion. An administration charge will be deducted from any refund. The owners reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a let should these terms of let not be met or in unreasonable behaviour/disturbance is caused during let.

Complaints

Suggestions about improving the accommodation are welcome. If residents have any complaints they must be taken up with the owners before leaving the property.

Insurance

We recommend that guests take out holiday cancellation insurance.

We regret that we are unable to accept pets or large groups beyond the intended capacity of the Bothy.

STRICTLY NON-SMOKING

Minimum stay 3 nights (low season)
